Annette Belke

Our Owner's Bio

Hello, my name is Annette Belke, the proud owner of Stay and Play Dog Boarding, and I can say dogs are truly my life. In fact, I decided to move to the Yukon Territory in Canada in order to offer my dogs a happy life in species-appropriate surroundings. Before the move, I worked as a freelance dog trainer around Bamberg and Bavaria, Germany.

Since receiving my certification from the Veterinary Medical Association of Bavaria, Germany, in 2009, I have administered several tests to prove dog competence in both theory and practice. I offer various canine certifications, as well as canine temperament evaluations.

My fascination with the different characters and appearances of canines sparked my interest in dog sledding. This drew me towards the wonderful alpine and lake scenery of "mushing country," Yukon. Here is where I can have my own team and spend all of my time with these wonderful dogs.
